Walk Me Home....to the place I belong is a 5 K
walk that promotes the awareness of foster care in the United States.
The 2nd annual walks are taking place this May throughout Maryland.

First Lady of Maryland Honors Foster Parents
On Sunday, May 17th, foster families around
the state gathered for a special luncheon at the Governor’s House in
Annapolis. First Lady, Katherine O’Malley held a luncheon honoring
foster parents throughout the state who were nominated in their
jurisdiction as Foster Families of the Year. To see picture of the

NFPA’s annual training conference in Reno
Members of the MFPA recently returned from
the annual training conference of the National Foster Parent
Association. This year the training was located in Reno, Nevada.
Next year we are pleased to be hosting the NFPA’s annual training
